Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Physician to join our Cardiology team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in patient rounds and assessments, working under the supervision of our Cardiology Attending physicians.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in consultation with our attending staff, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Perform procedures within your scope of practice, including central lines, temporary pacemakers, and pericardiocentesis.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our Cardiology program.
Requirements
  • Medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of two years of postgraduate training in a relevant specialty.
  • Eligibility for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
  • Proficiency in English language and excellent communication skills.

  • Professional/Technical Capabilities: diagnosing and managing common medical problems, including acute coronary syndrome, heart failure, and common dysrhythmias.
