The University of Ottawa is seeking a qualified instructor to teach a course on Photography and Contemporary Context. The successful candidate will have a strong background in photography and teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach a course on Photography and Contemporary Context, emphasizing self-directed studio practice informed by current theory in photography.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of students and aligns with the University's academic standards.
- Provide guidance and support to students in their studio practice, including feedback on their work and suggestions for improvement.
- Assess student learning and provide regular evaluations of their progress.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the photography program.
Requirements
- Master of Fine Arts or equivalent degree in a related field.
- Established reputation in photography, with a strong portfolio of work.

Working Conditions
