Moncton Registered Nurse Class D Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Horizon Health Network in Moncton, New Brunswick. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with Orthopedic Surgeons and other healthcare professionals to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate the surgical preoperative education and optimization program for patients awaiting orthopedic surgery.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive education, evaluation, and follow-up care to preoperative orthopedic surgery patients.
- Promote surgical optimization and preventative health care practices.
- Assist patients and families in adapting to required treatment and lifestyle changes.
- Deliver care to clients in an ambulatory outpatient setting, with assessments completed in person or via virtual healthcare solutions.
- Current registration in good standing with the Association of Registered Nurses of New Brunswick and a current Nurse Practitioner license.
- Valid Driver's License for travel to Miramichi Regional Hospital 2-3 days a month.
- A minimum of five years recent clinical experience in primary care or adult acute care.
- Demonstrated ability to function autonomously in an advanced practice role.
