**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited in the Central Alberta region. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, or computer-aided drawings to provide customers with estimates outlining the overall building material requirements.
  • Support the tendering process by providing quantities, costing/pricing, and descriptive information associated with the overall building project.
  • Develop and maintain a Vendor Reference Database to track and specify material-specific information, including product availability, unit cost, and lead times.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, building inspectors, draftsperson/designers, material vendors, trades, and local cooperatives.
  • Site visits/outside sales experience is essential.

**Qualifications:**

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in construction estimating or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license is a requirement; must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire.
