About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Engineering Technologist to join our team at Sodexo Canada Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing power equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop power equipment and systems to meet specific requirements
  • Install and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Interpret blueprints and instructions to plan methods and sequences of operation
  • Conduct safety training programs and supervise the building and testing of prototypes
  • Assist in design, development, and testing, as well as preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports
  • Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments, and conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
  • Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 30 to 31 hours per week
