Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Saffron Restaurant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our dining room and kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our operations team.
  • Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring that our team is well-staffed and equipped to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Permanent employment, working 35 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
