Position Overview:
We are currently in search of a surveyor to enhance our workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and oversee diverse surveying tasks as needed;
- Interpret and analyze engineered plans;
- Utilize various staking techniques for road and development projects, including slope and grade stakes;
- Execute topographic surveys of original ground and other surfaces;
- Complete as-built surveys of constructed features;
- Accurately measure and document field data with meticulous attention to detail;
- Engage in effective communication with Supervisors and Project Managers on a daily basis;
- Adhere to safety protocols and understand the significance of maintaining a secure work environment;
- Compile and finalize detailed reports;
- Assist with additional labor tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Completion or progress towards a certification in Geomatics;
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and ability to collaborate within a team;
- Willingness to travel for work assignments;
- Natural problem-solving skills with clear and effective communication;
- Flexibility to work night shifts if required;
- Enjoyment of outdoor work in a fast-paced and challenging setting;
- Possession of a valid Canadian driver's license with a clean driving record;
- Physical capability to navigate uneven terrain, ascend slopes, and carry loads of up to 20 kilograms.
