Position Overview:

We are currently in search of a surveyor to enhance our workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and oversee diverse surveying tasks as needed;
  • Interpret and analyze engineered plans;
  • Utilize various staking techniques for road and development projects, including slope and grade stakes;
  • Execute topographic surveys of original ground and other surfaces;
  • Complete as-built surveys of constructed features;
  • Accurately measure and document field data with meticulous attention to detail;
  • Engage in effective communication with Supervisors and Project Managers on a daily basis;
  • Adhere to safety protocols and understand the significance of maintaining a secure work environment;
  • Compile and finalize detailed reports;
  • Assist with additional labor tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Completion or progress towards a certification in Geomatics;
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and ability to collaborate within a team;
  • Willingness to travel for work assignments;
  • Natural problem-solving skills with clear and effective communication;
  • Flexibility to work night shifts if required;
  • Enjoyment of outdoor work in a fast-paced and challenging setting;
  • Possession of a valid Canadian driver's license with a clean driving record;
  • Physical capability to navigate uneven terrain, ascend slopes, and carry loads of up to 20 kilograms.
