Senior Staff Accountant

Job Summary:
Mier Human Capital is seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and providing financial analysis to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Audit and Assurance: Conduct audits and reviews of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Technical Skills: Possess strong technical skills in accounting software, including Caseware, Tax Prep, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit and assurance.
- Certifications: CPA designation and strong knowledge of ASPE and CAS.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive Salary: $80,000-$90,000 per year.
