**Job Summary**

We are inviting candidates to join our team as Medical Assistants (Donor Technicians) at our Winnipeg, Manitoba Center. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive experience for each donor and contributing to the creation of potentially life-saving products.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Welcome donors and assess them for suitability in the various plasma/blood programs in accordance with regulations, corporate policies, and customer specifications.
  • Assist with product processing of blood and plasma units by maintaining product and sample inventories in an orderly manner, and by completing accurate documentation for all products collected.
  • Maintain a positive company image through professional behavior and appearance and ensure prompt and friendly customer service.

**Requirements**

  • Have an outgoing, friendly personality and a liking for working with the public.
  • Want to work in a company that has a corporate culture of inclusion, mutual respect, hard work, and dedication with the core belief that together we succeed.
  • Have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Hold a current (within the last year) CPR card.
  • Phlebotomy experience would certainly be considered an asset.
