Job Title: Speech Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Thrive Therapy. As a Speech Therapist, you will work with clients to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech-language pathology and experience working with clients with a range of communication and swallowing disorders. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy to clients. You will also work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct speech-language tests and examinations to assess communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders
  • Provide therapy to clients to improve communication and swallowing skills
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Current licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Experience working with clients with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
