Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Food Counter Attendant to join our team at MR. GREEK DONAIR STORE INC.

Job Summary:

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and handle customer inquiries.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, portion and wrap foods, and package take-out food.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies, and restock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate dishwashers, conventional ovens, and other kitchen equipment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:

The Food Counter Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction. The ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail is essential.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The Food Counter Attendant will work 35 to 40 hours per week.
