Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse)

VON Canada is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care and support to patients in their homes, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop personalized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding and compliance with care plans.
  • Document patient progress and care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the provincial or territorial nursing regulatory body.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and move patients as required.
