Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Home Restaurant in Merritt. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
- Training and Development: Train new staff members in their job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols to ensure a high level of quality and consistency.
- Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient meal preparation and minimize waste.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators, as well as manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure financial efficiency.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience in a related field.

- Permanent Full-Time Position: A permanent full-time position with a guaranteed 30 hours of work per week.
- English Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
