As a Community Health Worker with Interior Health Authority, you will be part of a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who support clients' independence and ability to stay at home. Your role will involve providing home support services to clients, assisting with personal care and daily living, while promoting maximum independence.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene
- Perform household duties related to maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Prepare meals in accordance with designated plans
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Observe and report changes in client behavior and condition
- Perform delegated tasks according to training and procedures
This is a casual opportunity, which means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements may vary from zero to 37.5 hours per week. We are seeking candidates with good availability for short call work and open to working night shifts, days, and evenings.
