About the Role

GALIAB & SONS FARMS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our farm operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and ensuring the smooth operation of our agricultural crop services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and Coordinate Farm Operations: Supervise and coordinate the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers to ensure efficient and effective crop production.
  • Ensure Farm Safety and Bio-Security: Implement and maintain farm safety and bio-security procedures to protect our employees, crops, and equipment.
  • Monitor and Maintain Quality Control: Maintain quality control and production records to ensure the highest standards of crop quality and production efficiency.
  • Operate and Maintain Farm Machinery: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Perform General Farm Duties: Participate in general farm duties, including plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in farm operations or a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
