Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Smoke's Poutinerie. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Order and manage food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to maintain high-quality service.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Train Staff in Job Duties: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Ensure Quality Control Standards: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future improvements.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
