Why This Role Matters

The Specialized Care Data Management team plays a vital role in maintaining and releasing essential reporting and analytical products. As an Analyst on this team, you'll contribute to supporting data processing, system maintenance, and the dissemination of information for home care, long-term care, mental health, and inpatient rehabilitation.

What You'll Do

  • Develop a deep understanding of Specialized Care reporting tools, databases, and key data sources that provide insights into specialized care products and services.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation on data quality and reporting products (e.g., Quick Stats, Your Health System, eReports).
  • Participate in data load activities and contribute to the development and delivery of data releases, products, and services.
  • Conduct analyses for data requests and capacity building initiatives.
  • Collaborate in the development, documentation, and testing of new data collection and reporting modules.
  • Assist in the ongoing development and testing of analytical and client support products, including interpreting and documenting results.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Epidemiology, Health Information, Statistics, Social Sciences, Health/Business Administration).
  • 1-3 years of experience in data collection, data quality, analysis, report development, and/or dissemination of research.
  • Experience with statistical software such as Python, R, SAS, or other relevant tools is essential.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team with minimal supervision.
  • Fluency in English is required; bilingualism in both official languages is an asset.
