About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our team at Pan American Silver Corp. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our computer networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide assistance and troubleshooting to employees experiencing difficulties with computer systems, networks, and software.
  • Network Administration: Manage and maintain our computer networks, including servers, routers, and switches.
  • System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Help Desk: Respond to employee inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve technical issues, documenting solutions for future reference.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to employees on the use of computer systems, software, and networks.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in a technical support or network administration role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software; excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
