Responsibilities- Education and Experience: A diploma or certificate in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field, and at least 1 month of experience in a childcare setting.
- Certifications and Training: Emergency child care first aid and CPR, Food allergy and anaphylaxis training, CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
- Target Audience: Supervise and care for a multi-aged group of children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
- Security and Safety: Conduct thorough background checks, including a Child Abuse Registry check, Child welfare check, Criminal record check, and Drug test.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Perform repetitive tasks, maintain attention to detail, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Suitability: Demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, time management, patience, and honesty.
- Screening Questions: Answer questions about your current student status, legal ability to work in Canada, willingness to relocate, and proximity to the advertised location.
