Job Summary
Trans-United Consultants Ltd is seeking a highly skilled CNC Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining CNC machinery, as well as troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission new and used CNC machinery, including milling, lathe, and EDM equipment.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gearboxes, and bearings on all CNC equipment.
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and assist in the implementation of a rigorous preventative maintenance program.
- Plan and assist in the implementation of a predictive maintenance program to minimize machine downtime.
Requirements
- Bilingual (French) with excellent communication skills.
- 3 years' field service experience with a background in PLC and computer controls.
- Knowledge of CNC controls, including Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain, and Siemens.
- Ability to use technical manuals, read mechanical and electrical drawings, and use high-precision tools.
- Computer literate with the ability to work outside of regular business hours and perform on-call support as required.
