About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist to join our team at Apptad Inc. As a key member of our digital systems team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and test data to ensure the quality of our software applications.
- Document and track software defects and resolutions using collaborative tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
- Perform functional and unit testing, and document results.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and lead initial UAT sessions.
- Provide operational support, including reproducing production bugs in lower environments and dealing with production tickets.
- Participate in knowledge transfer and documentation of testing and issue tracking systems.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience in defect tracking using a collaborative tool to manage defects and change requests.
- Knowledge and experience in the use of automated test tools and version control systems on one or more platforms.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Quality Assurance skills, including experience with test planning, test scripting, and defect tracking.
- Technical skills, including experience with SharePoint,.NET Web, Web Services, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
