About the Role

Foyer Bois Joli inc. is seeking a skilled Nurse Aide to join our team. As a Nurse Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
  • Medical Support: Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any concerns to the nursing team.
  • Meal Service: Serve meal trays and assist patients with feeding, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain patients' rooms, including making beds and ensuring the environment is clean and hygienic.
  • Transportation: Safely transport patients between care facilities, using wheelchairs or stretchers as needed.
  • Communication: Respond to call signals and communicate with patients to determine their needs and preferences.
  • Specimen Collection: Collect specimens as required, following established protocols and procedures.
  • First Aid: Administer first aid in emergency situations, following established protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
