Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Taco Time. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and motivate a team of food service staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply requirements to minimize waste and ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our food meets the highest standards of quality and that our service is exceptional.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions and optimize operations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
  • Scheduling: Create and manage schedules to ensure that we have adequate staffing to meet customer demand.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, team player.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 32-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
