Position Overview

The Tilesetter Supervisor is responsible for overseeing tiling projects and managing a team of skilled workers. This role is crucial in ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school education is mandatory.
Work Environment

This position involves working at various job sites, adapting to different environments as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile production and progress reports to track project status.
  • Supervise and direct workers and their activities on-site.
  • Coordinate and schedule project timelines and tasks effectively.
  • Provide training or facilitate training sessions for team members.
  • Estimate the costs and materials necessary for projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Make recommendations regarding personnel decisions.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
  • Order and manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies.
Experience Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year but less than 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • This is a permanent position.
  • Work language is English.
  • Standard working hours are 40 hours per week.
