Job Title: Tile Setter Supervisor

MODENA TILING INC is seeking a skilled Tile Setter Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of tile and other materials on various construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of tile setters and other crew members to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Prepare and review production reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize workflow.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement project plans, including scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Train and mentor new team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and control costs, including materials and labor, to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures, as needed.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the tile installation industry.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
Working Conditions:
  • Varied locations, including construction sites and company offices.
  • 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
  • English language proficiency.
