About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Advisor to join our team at The Ladders. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and operation of our Woodfibre LNG Project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on all aspects of the project, including contract negotiation and review, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all legal requirements are met and that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations and provide guidance on how they impact the project.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the energy or natural resources sector.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including environmental and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
