About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Controller with manufacturing expertise to join our team. This is a hands-on role, requiring a strong background in full-cycle accounting in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all accounting information and managing the entire month-end process.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the complete accounting cycle, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive results while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting functions, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all accounting information and manage the entire month-end process.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • Proficient in standard Microsoft Office products, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills in English and French.
  • Solid understanding of the complete accounting cycle.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to drive results while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Autonomous.
  • Hardware manufacturing experience.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Working knowledge of Odoo or similar ERP software.
  • Completion of professional accounting designation program (i.e. CPA) or nearing completion.
