About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our team at WillowTree, a leading digital product consultancy. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the direction of our company and influencing project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of high-quality software applications using React Native
  • Collaborate with clients to influence technical product decisions and business goals
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software engineering best practices, tools, and frameworks
  • Mentor and coach project teams to achieve shared goals and outcomes
  • Identify and address obstacles to ensure quality, improve user experience, and optimize software development
Requirements
  • 8+ years of professional programming experience, with at least 2+ years of experience in React Native development
  • Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and mobile application development
  • Experience with Android and iOS SDKs, as well as unit testing and automation tools
  • Strong understanding of software architectures and ability to adapt/compose solutions to unique problems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
