Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Snow Removal Equipment Operator to join our team at Rockland Landscaping Supplies Ltd. As a key member of our winter maintenance team, you will be responsible for operating snow removal equipment to ensure safe and efficient snow clearance on our routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate snowblowers and other winter maintenance equipment to clear snow from roads and parking lots
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and serviced to ensure optimal performance
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, often in cold and inclement weather
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure all snow removal tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle for transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Steel-toed safety boots and gloves required
  • Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating snow removal equipment and winter maintenance vehicles
  • Knowledge of snow removal techniques and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
