We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre. As a key member of our Allied Health team, you will be responsible for assessing and treating adult outpatients with swallowing and communication difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for adult clients with neurological disorders
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to improve communication and swallowing skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Supervise students and provide clinical guidance to other staff members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to program development
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active or eligible registration with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)
- Experience conducting videofluoroscopy swallow studies is an asset
