Job Title: Home Support Worker

DOLLY DHANIRAM is seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring the client's home is safe and healthy.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Assist clients with daily tasks, such as meal preparation and medication management.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing care and support to clients in their own homes. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

35 to 40 hours per week.
