About the Role

Cougar Helicopters Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Helicopter Pilot to join our team. As a Helicopter Pilot, you will be responsible for flying fixed-wing aircrafts or helicopters, following emergency procedures, and monitoring the operation of engine and aircraft systems during flight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Flying fixed-wing aircrafts or helicopters
  • Following emergency procedures to compensate for equipment malfunction or failure
  • Monitoring the operation of engine and aircraft systems during flight
  • Recording equipment malfunctions and corrective actions taken during flight
  • Reporting required repairs to ground maintenance personnel
  • Conducting in-flight tests and monitoring the functioning of aircraft equipment and systems during flights
  • Conducting pre-flight inspections of aircraft and checking passenger and cargo distribution to ensure that weight and balance specifications are met
  • Contacting control towers for takeoff clearances, arrival instructions, and other information
  • Maintaining communications with flight dispatchers and weather forecasters and responding to and reporting in-flight emergencies and malfunctions
  • Preparing flight evaluation reports
