Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our Subway team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Hire and manage food service staff to ensure adequate coverage and high-quality service.
- Food Quality and Safety
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Operations and Administration
- Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring efficient use of staff and resources.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, providing insights for business improvement.
- Manage budgets and cost estimates, optimizing profitability and minimizing expenses.
- Customer Service
- Address customer complaints or concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, meeting their needs and exceeding expectations.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management or a related field.
- Work Environment
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Personal Qualities
- Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and excellent oral communication.
- Flexibility, team player, and ability to work under pressure.
This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
