Civil Engineering Instructor Opportunity
Cégep Saint-Hyacinthe is seeking a qualified Civil Engineering Instructor to teach AEC Estimation in Construction and Renovation (Reading of Plans and Estimates) in a distance learning environment.
About the Position
This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience and a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a 60-hour course and will be expected to be available at least 6 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Teach AEC Estimation in Construction and Renovation (Reading of Plans and Estimates) course
- Develop and implement course materials
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to teach in a distance learning environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
