**Telecommunications Field Service Specialist**

**Location:** US or Canada (Remote)

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deploy 911 Emergency Response Systems at client sites throughout North America.
  • Educate clients on system management and operational procedures.
  • Ensure the provision of precise post-installation documentation.
  • Conduct system diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Undertake independent travel, frequently by air, for extended periods.

Key Duties:

  • Implement hardware and software solutions for emergency communication networks.
  • Set up network devices including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Utilize both graphical and command-line interfaces.
  • Validate systems and secure client approval.
  • Deliver on-site training and technical assistance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with LAN and WAN networking protocols.
  • Proficient with diverse hardware and software technologies.
  • Knowledge of traditional telecommunication protocols.
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities across various platforms.

Personal Attributes:

  • Demonstrated capacity to operate without supervision.
  • Effective communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

**Compensation Range:** $75,000 - $90,000
