The role of a Moulding Specialist involves the creation of sand moulds utilizing various patterns and tools. This position is essential in the metal casting process, ensuring high-quality production standards.
Educational Requirements- Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
- Construct sand moulds using patterns, moulding boxes, and hand tools, employing bench, floor, or pit moulding techniques.
- Pour molten metal into prepared moulds to create metal castings.
- Fabricate cores for moulds to create voids or openings in castings.
- Set up, adjust, and operate various casting machinery.
- Requires manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Strong hand-eye coordination is essential.
- Minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- Permanent position with a work schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Work language is English.
