The Construction Project Leader is accountable for the successful delivery of construction services at Chandos Construction Inc. This role involves overseeing a team of project managers to ensure that assigned projects are executed effectively. The Project Leader plays a crucial role in business growth by supporting Business Development initiatives. They are responsible for guiding, mentoring, and developing multiple project teams to achieve design and construction goals.


• Mentor and guide project teams to fulfill project objectives and enhance team capabilities.


• Provide strategic direction, oversee team development, and conduct performance evaluations.


• Promote transparent communication and collaboration in alignment with corporate goals and vision.


• Assess project requirements, oversee bidding procedures, and remain updated on industry trends.


• Engage in client relationship management and ensure client satisfaction through effective communication.


• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, interact with project stakeholders, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.


• Uphold project management standards and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.


• Supervise project execution, including risk management, milestone tracking, and project closure.


• Monitor project advancement, manage financial resources, and oversee third-party activities.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent experience in the construction field.
  • PQS designation, trade certification, or a business degree is advantageous.
  • Gold Seal Certification (GSC) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of fifteen years of experience in commercial construction.
  • At least ten years of direct experience in construction project management.
  • Familiarity with local, provincial, and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances, legislation, and building codes.
