Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Radiant Care Pleasant Manor. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will provide safe and efficient personal care for residents, ensuring their physical, social, recreational, spiritual, and psychological well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized service in a home-like setting
  • Effectively communicate with residents, staff, and families
  • Provide excellent customer service in a respectful, courteous, and pleasant manner
  • Adapt to changing needs of residents and adjust service delivery as required
  • Observe and report changes in resident's status
  • Record necessary data on resident health and provision of service
  • Share responsibility for care of equipment in the home and personal belongings of residents
  • Work co-operatively with team members
  • Receive direction from registered staff
  • Participate in quality improvement activities, in-service sessions, and training as required
Requirements
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Practical Nurse in the province of Ontario
  • A member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Training and education in caring for seniors in long term care
  • Demonstrated experience in caring for seniors in long term care
  • Demonstrated experience in documentation and care planning
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Computer skills
