Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Northern Health in Fort St. John, BC. As a LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate patient care in accordance with the standards and code of ethics outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
  • Apply the Nursing Process, perform assessments, plan and provide nursing care.
  • Support clients and families to achieve optimal health by working within a client and family centered care model and following organizational policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the Clinical Supervisor and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
  • One year of recent, related acute care or residential experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge within a specific clinical specialty
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to organize work and establish rapport with clients
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications
  • Physical ability to carry out duties
