Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Sandwich & Salad. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of food service staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Operations and Logistics: Establish methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and ensure that financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Human Resources: Hire food service staff, and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Certifications: Food Safety Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate.
