Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Smitty's Comox. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability are essential.
