About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Finish Touch Construction Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Blueprint Reading and Interpretation

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure accurate execution.

Material Preparation and Installation

Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

Finishing Touches

Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a high-quality finish.

Team Leadership

Supervise and lead other workers to ensure efficient project execution and high-quality results.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trade.

Language and Work Environment

Fluency in English and ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Work Schedule

40 hours per week, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting project deadlines.
