Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to become a vital member of our Distribution Operations & Enablement team. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing our broker distribution strategy by leveraging our partnerships with brokers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the broker contract lead in the creation and modification of broker agreements, including amendments and terminations, in collaboration with the Broker Distribution and Legal teams.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of broker licenses, focusing on new applications, renewals, and terminations specifically for the Atlantic provinces.
  • Maintain an updated list of authorized signatories for sponsorship in all other provinces and communicate any changes to regional regulatory authorities.
  • Provide necessary support to the Enablement team, including the processing of broker code modifications.
  • Contribute to transformation initiatives that impact the Enablement team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A University degree, College Diploma, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, influencing, and organizational skills.
  • A proactive problem solver with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: broker, supplier, or third-party contracts, including familiarity with key contractual terms.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology is advantageous.
  • Exposure to the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance sector is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in French is a plus.
