Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Training Specialist to join our team at Finning. As a Technical Training Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to our customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs to customers and employees on technical topics such as hydraulic, electrical, engine, and powertrain systems.
- Design and deliver training materials, including course manuals, presentation materials, and exams.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and develop training programs to address those gaps.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop training content and ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Deliver training programs in a variety of formats, including classroom, online, and on-the-job training.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in technical training.
Requirements
- Experience with Caterpillar specific hydraulic, electrical, engine, and powertrain systems.
- Product specific experience with excavators, dozers, haul trucks, graders, large bore engines.
- Knowledge of products, attachments, accessories, and modifications for various equipment.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications and internal systems.
- Previous work experience in training delivery considered an asset.
- Experience in mining, construction, power systems applications will all be considered.
