Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Grab and Go Indian Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, receiving and storing supplies, and assisting with food preparation and presentation.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment
