Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Sanitation Network Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient operation of wastewater treatment systems.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct precise measurements of sludge levels in aerated ponds using sonar technology.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collect water samples and sludge for analysis, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Execute smoke and dye tracing tests to identify potential leaks or blockages in the network.
- Analyze collected data and generate comprehensive technical reports to document findings.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with your supervisor, providing daily updates on work progress and results.
Qualifications:
- Possess a strong work ethic and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed.
- Demonstrate analytical skills and the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Education and Experience:
- Hold an AEC-DEC-DEP in water sanitation or a related field.
- Possess a solid understanding of water analysis techniques and the ability to interpret results accurately.
- Familiarity with ARC GIS software is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not required.
- Fluency in spoken and written French is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) is required.
- A valid driver's license is necessary for this position.
