Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Audio Visual Technician to lead our AV installation team in Vancouver, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of complex audio visual systems, leading installation crews, and ensuring projects meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct installation crews on large/complex projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Perform installation tasks, including system commissioning, cable pulls, cable terminations, and equipment setup.
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints to ensure accurate installation.
  • Test and troubleshoot audio visual systems to ensure proper functionality.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, project coordinators, and team members to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage and secure all associated equipment and tools on job sites.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in audiovisual, electronics, or related industry installation.
  • Formal education in Audio Visual, Electronics, or related field preferred.
  • Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle (mileage is paid).
  • Able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Able to lift 60 pounds.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal record check.
Compensation and Benefits

In accordance with the BC Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this role for BC residents is $60,000 – $72,000 annually.
