Job Summary
We are seeking a self-starter with a positive attitude to lead our clinic's audiology services. As an audiologist with AudioSense, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a highly collaborative team with a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessments and treatments for all forms of hearing and vestibular difficulties
- Work with patients who have a variety of hearing and audiological needs, including cerumen management, custom earmolds, hearing loss, sound sensitivities, and complex auditory deficits
- Develop and carry out treatment plans based on assessment results for pediatric and adult populations
- Prescribe and dispense hearing aid devices and offer follow-up services
- Provide patient education on hearing healthcare and hearing aids
Requirements
- Master's or Doctor of Audiology degree from an accredited university
- Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
- Strong diagnostic and clinical audiology skills, as well as strong counseling skills for audiologic conditions
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and establish relationships with patients, their families, and their healthcare providers
- Experience working with both children and adults, as well as experience with Microsoft Office and audiological software
