Job Description - Safety and Systems Assurance Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Safety and Systems Assurance Director to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our Safety and Systems Assurance team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality safety and systems assurance services to our clients.

About the Role

The Safety and Systems Assurance Director will be responsible for:

  1. Leading a team of safety and systems assurance professionals in the delivery of complex multidisciplinary projects.
  2. Developing and implementing safety and systems assurance processes and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  3. Providing technical leadership and guidance to team members on safety and systems assurance matters.
  4. Collaborating with other departments to ensure the integration of safety and systems assurance into project delivery.
  5. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality safety and systems assurance services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  2. Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in the field of safety and systems assurance.
  3. Experience of managing teams of safety and systems assurance professionals.
  4. Experience of delivering complex multidisciplinary projects.
  5. Experience of developing and implementing safety and systems assurance processes and procedures.
  6. Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills.
  7. Attention to detail in delivering high-quality work.
  8. Experience of working directly with client organizations or construction teams.
  9. Excellent networking and client relationship management skills.
  10. Excellent people management and interpersonal skills.

Travel

The Safety and Systems Assurance Director will be required to travel to project sites and client locations as needed.

Compensation

The expected compensation for this role is between $143,520 - $197,340 + Bonus annually.
