We are seeking a skilled and experienced Retail Baker to join our team at Sammy's Pizza Parlor. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, rolls, and pastries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked bakery.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards, and make adjustments as needed to maintain consistency.
Work Environment

As a Retail Baker at Sammy's Pizza Parlor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English.
